S2 Announces Integration with Salient Video Management System

Austin, TX and Framingham, MA (August 25, 2010) – Salient Systems and S2 Security Corporation today announced the integration of Salient’s CompleteView Video Management Systems with the S2 NetBox IP-based physical security management system. Through the integration of these systems, Salient Systems and S2 streamline video management and create a complete physical security system that includes video surveillance, access control and alarm monitoring.

The integrated system ties CompleteView’s robust video surveillance features to the S2 access control and intrusion detection system. Users of the integrated system will have access to live and recorded video as well as pan tilt and zoom camera control that can be directly managed through the S2 NetBox interface. Events and recordings can be linked and then called up via the S2 NetBox user interface, making is easy for system users to investigate incidents as needed.

Integration with CompleteView v3.5.2 is supported in S2 NetBox version 4.1 build 452 and later, and is available immediately.
