The Opportunity: Located in Framingham, MA,S2 provides Technical Support for our integrators who install and service security products for their end-user customers. You will be responsible for taking, researching and responding to calls on the installation, setup, operational programming and ongoing management of our systems as well as their integration with video network recorders and other networked security systems. You will use S2’s remote access capability to directly connect to the customer’s system and employ our rich software toolset to evaluate configuration and network questions posed by the integrator. You will have access to engineering and management resources to help you get the job done.

You must have a professional yet friendly phone manner, since we deal with many dealers and integrators who will sell our product in part based on the quality and enthusiasm of the support they receive. Impressions are important so we strive to resolve all issues promptly and agreeably. Critical issues that can’t be solved through product configuration are immediately reported as bugs requiring a good working relationship with our hardware and software engineering teams.
Occasional travel may be required, but is not a regular occurrence. IP Networking experience required. Industry experience installing and configuring access control and alarm monitoring equipment is strongly desired as is knowledge of and installation experience with video DVR and NVR systems.
